Our Web site is intended for use by users and prospective users of our products and services. This site contains links to other sites. BestPracticeConsulting is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. Further, although BestPracticeConsulting is committed to maintaining your confidence and trust in all of its activities with you, this Privacy Policy does not govern our collection or use of data through channels other than this Web Site.

The purpose of this site is to convey information to interested parties about the capabilities and solutions of BestPracticeConsulting.

As BestPracticeConsulting grows and new features are added to the Web Site, or if legal requirements change, this Privacy Policy may be modified. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the Web Site. All information submitted through the Web Site is subject to this Privacy Policy, as amended.

I. What Information We Gather

Volunteered Information:
This site does not automatically collect any personally identifiable information. BestPracticeConsulting’s information request forms may ask users to voluntarily provide us with personal contact information (such as name, title and address) and demographic information (such as zip code, employment industry, and department) and company information (such as uses of Web and number of employees). Data fields may be added or deleted from time to time.

Referral Information:
We may gather information from your browser as to how you were referred to our site. This information may be stored on a cookie in your browser.

II. What We Do With The Information We Gather

Volunteered Information:
Several areas of the site offer the visitor an opportunity to request more information via email or phone. We use the information voluntarily submitted by our visitors to send them information about our products and services and may from time to time forward relevant information to the requestor’s email address and/or contact the requestor using any phone number provided. Users may decline to receive future notices and mailings from BestPracticeConsulting; see the choice/opt-out section below. The information volunteered by our Web site users may also help us to modify our products and services to better serve our visitors' online businesses, and it will also be used to assign passwords to password protected areas of our Web site.

Also, so that we may better understand the profile of our visitors in order to optimize the content on the site, we ask that visitors register to receive certain requested content. Once a visitor completes the registration process, they will not need to register at this site again. The registration process utilizes a cookie placed in the registrants browser solely for the purpose of recognizing that visitor as a registrant and bypassing any future registration processes. Registrants whose browsers do not accept cookies will need to re-enter their confirmation code or re-register for certain content. BestPracticeConsulting may follow-up with registered visitors via email or phone.

Referral Information:
We will use information on how you were directed to our site for market research purposes and to measure the effectiveness of direct and indirect sales and marketing channels.

III. With Whom We Share The Information We Gather

BestPracticeConsulting will not sell its customer database to third parties in the ordinary course of our business. However, the information collected on our Web site may be disclosed in the following situations:

Contact information voluntarily supplied by a user may be provided to third party strategic allies of BestPracticeConsulting offering products or services, which BestPracticeConsulting believes may be of interest to its users. At the time the information is supplied by a user, or at any time later, the user may opt out of these voluntary disclosures; see the Opt-Out section below. In selecting strategic allies, BestPracticeConsulting seeks companies, which have adopted stringent data privacy policies. However, BestPracticeConsulting is not responsible for the actions of these third parties.

Information may be made available to outside firms under contract with BestPracticeConsulting to conduct research or to provide consulting services to us in order to improve our products and services and to better serve our customers. Our contractors are required to enter into non-disclosure agreements prohibiting the data from being disclosed or used for any other purpose.

Contact information may be provided as needed to fulfillment houses under contract with BestPracticeConsulting in order to expedite delivery of software and other deliverables ordered from BestPracticeConsulting.

Information may be disclosed pursuant to a legal requirement, court order or as deemed necessary to protect BestPracticeConsulting's or others' legal rights or to prevent harm.

As BestPracticeConsulting continues to develop, BestPracticeConsulting might sell or buy the assets of similar companies. In such transactions, customer and user information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the unlikely event that BestPracticeConsulting or substantially all of its assets are acquired, such information may be one of those transferred assets, and we reserve the right to buy or sell such assets.
